The Community Engagement area created at the end of 2016 is helping to build the capacity within our community through education and awareness around mental health in addition to helping erase the stigma that so often surrounds mental illness.
Programming includes presentations on various mental health topics to educational institutions, post-secondary institutions, workplaces, agencies, non-profit organizations and community service groups. In addition, safeTALK certification training (suicide alertness training) is provided.
If you are interested in having us present to your organization, please feel free to call us at 306-525-9543 to inquire about availability and cost. *Note: As our schedules fill up quickly, we encourage you to book at least 6 weeks in advance.
All fundraising initiatives are also carried out by this area. Again please feel free to contact us at the above number to see how you can be involved as a volunteer, sponsor or partner.
