United Way support

As a strategic partner of United Way Regina, we are very thankful for their generous support of $98,621.00 this year.  This support will enable CMHA Regina Branch to achieve our goals that align with United Way Regina strategic focus area of “Strong Communities”.

This investment will enable CMHA to deliver services that assist people coping with a mental illness to obtain an improved quality of life, to be actively engaged in our community, supporting people in their recovery process, and helping people to thrive.

The support of United Way Regina goes far beyond dollars invested, as through their support we have gained an advocate to help raise awareness about mental illness; helping to overcome the stigma.  This partnership strengthens our organization; helps improve our reputation and visibility in the community.   With this increased community profile more people will seek support from our agency or get involved with CMHA as a way to give back to their community.

We appreciate the valuable training workshops, peer support, and info sessions hosted by United Way Regina.  These opportunities not only  increase staff knowledge and skill set but also provide valuable networking opportunities from other United Way partner organizations in the city.  This helps all partners be better advocates for clients; helps improve collaboration between organizations, increasing efficiency of services, and stronger communities.
